I just witnessed the signing of the $50 Million grant for the construction of an International Conference Center between The Gambia and China. Work starts in August 2017 and will take two years to complete. Local labour will be employed, thus creating job opportunity for skilled youths to e employed and its completion will boost tourism and cultural exchange. This is a true commitment of China to The Gambia.
