NYSC Director - General Pays Last Respect To Remains Of Slain Corper

As the remains of Precious Ayo Owolabi leave National Hospital Abuja morgue, uncontrollable tears flowed freely both from colleagues, NYSC officials and sypathisers. Owolabi Precious Ayo, a serving Corps Member with Channels Television was killed during Shiites protesters/police clash on Monday in central Abuja, the nation's capital city.

Owolabi remains was lowered into a casket before being conveyed to Kaduna in an official ambulance. The entire hospital premises was enveloped in a mournful mood, while sympathisers condemned the gruesome killing of the deceased who was on the mandatory  National assignment.

NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim led some Management Staff and Corps Members to the hospital to pay their last respect to the fallen hero.
Sympathisers at the hospital also include Members of staff from Channels Television and a host of others who wept uncontrollably.
Earlier, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim visited the Chief Medical Director of National Hospital Abuja, Dr JAF Momoh to commend him for the hospital's efforts on the victims of the protest. Addressing pressmen at the hospital, Ibrahim commiserated the family of the slain Corps Member adding that his service would not be in vain.

Precious hailed from Oyo State and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Preforming Arts from the University of Ilorin.
