Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Mimiko might have finally dribbles himself into a monumental crisis as his candidate Mr. Eyitayo Jegede might not be in the ballot in next week gubernatorial poll in the state.
The worst thing that can happen to governor in our thieving and roguish democracy is for him not to handpicked his successor. Ask Rotimi Amaechi and Tunde Fashola.....they will have stories to tell.
The Justice Ibrahim Saulawa-led panel of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, has adjourned indefinitely the judgment on the appeal filed by substituted governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming election in Ondo State, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede.
But i trust Iroko...he will find a way out...i can see him doing a deal with Aketi, the APC man.
Let us keep our fingers crossed and our arms folded. One week is very long time in politics.
Remember Hillary was leading Trump with double-digit number a week before the FBI released the damaging stuff on the former first lady and everything changed .....the rest is history.
